Setting the background color with 262k color depth

 Hey there,

I'm using the functionality to fastly draw a rectangle by setting a drawing window and clearing it afterwards. Unfortunately, I do not find a command to set the background with a color depth greater than 256 for firmware version 3.3 and above. Is there a posibility or am I restricted to 256 color?

Best

Sebastian

RE:Setting the background color with 262k color depth

Hi,

have you tried mydisp.setTrueColor(15,15,15) ?

RE:Setting the background color with 262k color depth

 Hey,

thank you for the proposal. Yes I have tried the setTrueColor(...) or "ESC" as the underlying command respectively. It sets the foreground color not the background color. Regarding the documentation, in the older Firmware versions it was possible to set the foreground color first and than use the "BGC" command to set the background color to the same color as the foreground color. Now, I think it is only possible to set the background color with a color defined by one byte. Or am I wrong?

Try command: "FTOB", this command convert foreground color to background, and may not document in manual.

If the firmware on the display you have not support this command, update the firmware to latest version.

Thank you very much. Worked like a charm.
