Custom characters on 1602 to 4002 mono LCD possible through Arduino ?

I have sucessfully enabled a mono 4002 LCD displaying characters  (40 column, 2 row) with Universal Serial UART / I2C / SPI Text LCD adapter connected to an Arduino UNO through the I2C port.

Arduino's inbuilt LCD library which supports creating custom characters & saving them using createChar() command. This is also supported in a third party add-on I2C LCD library for Arduino.

I browsed through the Digole manual but couldn't find info on creating custom characters on mono text digole LCDs through Arduino library.

Does the Digole serial LCD library for Arduino support custom character creation ?

Sorry, no, but you may use "manual command and data " commands to send data to LCD directly to make custom characters.

Could you guide how to print custom character on 16x2 LCD using either BIN or HEX values of the pixels ?
